The Lodge is situated 12 miles west of the main harbour town of Kyrenia. The coast road which has many interesting places to visit provides good access to the town where all the commercial facilities for the region are located. Kyrenia is some 35 miles north west of the main airport, Ercan and 20 miles north of the capital city, Nicosia. Kyrenia is the main port for ferry access to mainland Turkey which is 40 miles away. Whilst the border between the north and south of the island is now open, visitors do not have free access in rental cars but taxis can be hired for this purpose.

Flights can be arranged from many U.K. airports directly to the South (4 ½ hrs) and indirect into Northern Cyprus (Ercan) via Turkey (5 ½ hrs).
